What is important to me?

Balance
As most people in these busy times, I wear many hats. I am a mother to two teenage children, an army wife, a sister to a disabled brother, and I run a business. It often feels like there are not enough hours in the day.

However, I believe that contentment comes from striking a balance. We all face times when we need a bit of help to gain better balance in our lives.  And ironically, one of the best ways to do this is through relaxation. By taking time out to relax, batteries can be recharged and new levels of energy found to allow the juggling act to continue. Self-hypnosis allows me to take the time out I need to keep me healthy, meaning that I can look after all the other people in my life.

My beliefs
Therapy often has negative connotations and hypnosis is often associated with stage entertainers. My belief is we can all improve our lives in some way.  And what I do is a long, long way from what goes on on stages.

Hypnotherapy can help you make a change in your life.  It may be moving away from something you no longer want to do, or moving towards higher goals such as in business or sport. The power of the mind is phenomenal and I see that in clients time and time again.   I genuinely believe that hypnotherapy can be used by anyone to enhance every waking day.

Qualifications
I have a Diploma in Hypnotherapy from the Hypnotherapy Training Institute of Britain. The training consisted of 200 hours of tutor led learning with practical assessments. This sets it apart from the many courses which allow people to practice as hypnotherapists after a fraction of that time and with no formal examination.

My NLP qualifications started with a Practitioner qualification followed by Master Practitioner gained in 2003. Certificates of above qualifications can be made available on request.  I also maintain an audited membership of the British Institute of Hypnotherapy and NLP and my practice is registered with the ICO
