My Approach

Do you remember learning to drive? Initially you had to think about every gear change, every signal, but now you drive without having to think about any of these things.  It like being on ‘autopilot’. This process is very similar to dieting. When ‘on a diet’ you think about everything you eat and it is hard work! And when the diet stops and you go back on to ‘autopilot’, the bad food choices happen automatically and weight creeps back on.

So how does hypnotherapy work?

Through hypnotherapy we make changes to the ‘autopilot’ mode, allowing you to choose food that your body needs to be healthy, without you having to think about it. I will get that ‘devil’ who sits on your shoulder to behave himself and work with you instead of against you, making it easy to reject food you don’t need. Many people who have lost weight using hypnotherapy were surprised at how quickly they found themselves no longer wanting the food they used to crave.  They experienced weight coming off without the strain of dieting.

I believe eating should be a pleasure and we should be able to enjoy the joy that is chocolate! However, I aim to get you to the stage where you can break off a couple of chunks of dairy milk and then put the rest back in the fridge for another day.

How long does it take?

The number of sessions required varies from person to person but the average is 4-6 and you will be given a personalised CD to help you in helping yourself.
